Purchase-related information made available to us by Gumroad, such as your name, email address, product purchased, transaction status, and related customer-service information. We do not directly receive or store your complete payment-card number.

Any other information you voluntarily provide.

Our service providers may also automatically collect technical information such as IP address, browser type, device information, referring page, timestamps, cookie identifiers, and interaction data needed to operate, secure, or improve their services.

How we use information

Legal bases for processing

Where the General Data Protection Regulation, United Kingdom data-protection law, or similar law applies, we process personal information on one or more of the following grounds: your consent; performance of a contract or steps requested before a contract; compliance with legal obligations; and our legitimate interests in operating, securing, and improving the business, provided those interests are not overridden by your rights.

Email marketing and MailerLite

We use MailerLite to host our website and landing pages, collect subscriber information, deliver free resources, manage our email list, and send emails. MailerLite processes subscriber data on our behalf and may use cookies, web beacons, and similar technologies as described in its own policies. Every marketing email should include an unsubscribe link. You may unsubscribe at any time, although we may still send non-marketing messages needed to answer a request or provide a purchased product.

Purchases and Gumroad

Purchases are currently processed and digitally delivered through Gumroad. Gumroad independently collects and processes payment, checkout, fraud-prevention, tax, and transaction information under its own terms and privacy policy. Information shared with us by Gumroad is used to fulfill purchases, provide support, maintain records, and address refunds or disputes.

Cookies and similar technologies

Our website and service providers may use cookies or similar technologies that are necessary for website operation, security, forms, email delivery, and basic service functionality. We do not currently add separate advertising pixels or third-party analytics tools such as Meta Pixel, Pinterest Tag, or Google Analytics. If we add those tools, we will update this policy and implement any notice or consent mechanism required by applicable law.

How we share information

We do not sell personal information for money. We may share information only as reasonably necessary with:

Service providers that help us host the website, manage email, process sales, deliver digital products, store records, provide technical support, or protect the business.

Professional advisers such as accountants, attorneys, insurers, or consultants when reasonably necessary.

Government authorities, courts, or other parties when required by law or necessary to protect rights, safety, property, or the integrity of the business.

A successor or potential successor in connection with a merger, sale, restructuring, financing, or transfer of all or part of the business, subject to appropriate protections.

International data transfers

We are based in Minnesota, United States. Our service providers may process information in the United States and other countries. Those countries may have different privacy laws than your country. Where required, service providers may rely on approved transfer mechanisms or contractual safeguards.

Data retention

We retain information only as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this policy, including providing products or support, maintaining email preferences, meeting tax and accounting obligations, resolving disputes, enforcing agreements, and complying with law. Retention periods vary by record type. We may retain limited suppression records after an unsubscribe so we can honor the request.

Security

We use reasonable administrative and technical measures appropriate to the nature of the information we handle. No online system or method of transmission is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Your choices and privacy rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, or objection regarding certain personal information. You may also withdraw consent where processing relies on consent and lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority. These rights may be limited by applicable exceptions, including legal recordkeeping obligations.

To make a privacy request, email thegoolsbyhollow@gmail.com. We may need to verify your identity before completing the request.

Children’s privacy

Our website, email list, and checkout are intended for adults, including parents and guardians purchasing or downloading resources for household use. We do not knowingly collect personal information online from children under 13. Children should not submit personal information, join our email list, or make purchases. If you believe a child has provided information, contact us so we can review and delete it as appropriate.

Third-party links

Our website or emails may link to third-party websites or services. Their privacy practices are controlled by their own policies, and we are not responsible for those practices.
